Job Role: Technical Support Representative Location: Oldham XCL Group are working alongside a growing company based in Oldham who are looking for a technical support representative to assist their team members in supporting internal and external customers, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and within budget. Job Responsibilities: Work alongside the customer service team and deal with any technical queries Managing customer repair projects, keeping the customer updated at all stages and resolving any issues Regularly updating the customer database with key information regarding their order Work alongside the senior technical support team, overseeing the field and workshop service team. Also, oversee related training courses to make sure members of the shop floor are fully aware with all the products the company supply Monitor the LOLER process and ensure all records are up to date (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) Set minimum and maximum stock levels for the field engineers’ vehicles liaising with the parts and operations management Ensuring the field engineers work is always conducted in a safe and responsible manner, following all health and safety procedures and producing RAMs (risk assessment method statement) for any field work undertaken Stay up to date with any environmental health and safety regulations and updates, passing relevant information down to field engineers and sub-contractors The ideal candidate: Level 3 NVQ in mechanics and/or auto-electrical repair Holds an IOSH and LOLER Certificate Have excellent telephone manner and great communication skills to liaise with customers Excellent team work skills, as well as organizational skills Confident in record keeping and report writing Hours: TBC This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company, please apply with an up to date cv or for more information regarding the position please contact our Huddersfield Office on (phone number removed)
