As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of night shifts, providing excellent leadership and support to your team while delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising and motivating the night care team to ensure exceptional standards of care.
2. Promoting person-centred approaches and championing dignity, choice, and independence.
3. Administering medication.
4. Assisting with care plans, risk assessments, and daily records to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
5. Leading by example in providing hands-on care and support to residents with dementia.
6. Communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to foster a positive, caring atmosphere.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
7. Experience within a dementia care setting.
8. A compassionate and empathetic nature, with excellent interpersonal skills.
9. Strong organisational abilities and the confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
10. A commitment to delivering person-centred care and inspiring your team to do the same.
