We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated Support Coordinator within our Bury Learning Disabilities Services to provide person-centered support to people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs living in their own homes.
Working with a highly skilled team of support workers, you will assist the registered Manager in the management and provision of 24-hour support across two supported living schemes.
Responsibilities
* Providing practical and emotional support to people with learning disabilities as well as accessing opportunities for social inclusion.
* Maximizing service user outcomes by working closely with the service user, their family and friends, staff, and involved professionals.
* Coordinating the day-to-day running of the services that meet the needs of the service users.
* Developing and managing staff, including deploying staff resources, staff training, supervision, and appraisal.
* Supporting managers with business planning and service developments.
* Supporting managers with Quality Assurance and CQC compliance.
* Auditing of service paperwork on a monthly basis.
Experience of working with people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs as well as previous management experience is essential for this role.
You will be required to work flexibly across two services on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holiday working.
