The Role of Commercial Manager
As Commercial Manager, you will be managing a team of 2 junior salespeople while also selling exhibition, sponsorship, and thought leadership opportunities across an annual large-scale event for the B2B hospitality sector. You will be selling to any and every type of supplier who is targeting restaurants, caterers, and similar.
These would include FMCG brands (such as Coca Cola), artisan food producers, and manufacturers of specialist kitchen equipment through to delivery providers (such as Uber Eats). You will manage the largest spending clients with 80% of your revenue coming from existing clients and 20% from new business.
Although the role includes management, the client will consider people without managerial experience who are keen to learn.
