HR Officer South West London
Employment Type: Full-Time 8am 4pm, 5 days a week
Start Date: ASAP Long term placement until July 2025 with potential temp to perm
HR Officer - About the Role:
anzuk Education is recruiting for a hard-working HR Officer to work in a secondary school located in South West London. We are looking for a candidate who is dedicated and reliable with HR experience (education sector not essential) in the UK and an Enhanced DBS on the update service. This is a long-term full-time role starting ASAP. We will accept candidates with a maximum of a one week notice period.
HR Officer - Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the recruitment and interview process
2. Respond to staff HR queries and coordinate any changes and updates
3. Work with the external HR advisors to coordinate the management of more complex HR queries and issues
4. Ensure staff HR records are maintained accurately
5. Administer DBS checks
6. Ensure the Single Central Record is maintained and kept up to date at all times
7. Ensuring SIMS is accurate and up to date with staff contract details
8. Support the admin team with resolving day to day operational issues at the school
9. Monitor and report monthly staff absence and perform agreed actions
10. Source cover staff and temporary staff when needed and monitor attendance, time sheet and invoices
11. Coordinate and liaise with SLT and admin to produce annual staff review letter and statements
HR Officer - Requirements:
* HR experience in the UK
* Enhanced DBS on the update or be willing to apply for one at registration with anzuk
* Available ASAP for a full-time opportunity
