This role offers the opportunity for flexible working and hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. Summary of the role We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who has an interest in and knowledge of current affairs, business or philanthropy as well as the ability to conduct research using publicly available resources effectively and efficiently to join the Prospect Research team within the Global Advancement office (part of the External Engagement and Global Division). The Prospect Research team is responsible for identifying, researching and assessing potential philanthropic supporters of the University of Exeter to maintain a strong pool of major donor prospects to support the Philanthropy team in soliciting gifts to the University. The postholder will be responsible for gathering information that helps fundraisers to raise philanthropic gifts, managing news alerts, conducting light-touch due diligence and writing biographical profiles of supporters. Although previous experience is desired, it is not essential, and full training will be provided for the postholder.
