Release Train Engineer - Auckland or Christchurch at Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities, Canterbury

This is an opportunity to support our newly formed Value Management Office, working alongside and supporting the team of 10, including Release Train Engineers, Business Analysts, and Portfolio Analysts.
You will be working with our Value Stream leaders, so you will have an understanding of multiple work streams and ensure clear visions and strategies are shared through a time of transformation.
The Release Train Engineer will be our expert in agile ways of working and be expected to coach and mentor our leaders and teams on best practice and deliver on organisation strategies and objectives.
This role is a fixed term role for 18 months.
* Hold deep subject matter expertise in the purpose and capabilities of each value stream and delivery.
* Expert planning and organising skills, able to break down complex strategies, goals, and objectives and allocate those across the Business Enablement function.
* Strong coaching and mentoring skills, the ability to convey complex concepts and techniques to lay audiences.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to identify competing priorities, negotiate and influence trade-offs with interested parties.
* 2-3 years' experience working as a Release Train Engineer or Agile Coach.
* Experience in large scale transformations within an organization.
* Certified in relevant Lean, Agile, or Scaled Agile certifications is desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of agile practices.
* Strong and multifaceted communication skills up to senior leadership level.
* Strong leadership skills, with a servant leadership mindset.
* Influencing and negotiating skills at all levels, with proven ability to develop trust and credibility with key stakeholders.
* Proven reporting skills and ability to accurately derive insights from reports.
