We are looking for experienced Healthcare staff to support our clients in East Sussex.
Job description:
• To make each day the person you support have a positive outcome for them.
• To help maintain the individual’s skill level and to develop new ones.
• To support individuals, live the life they want to lead, make decisions, have as many choices about their lives as possible and be supported to take appropriate risks.
• To support individuals access facilities in the local community and take part in activities outside of their home.
• To support individuals, look after their health and take any medication.
• Help individuals with personal care (e.g. washing, bathing, shaving, going to the toilet)
As a support worker, you will need to:
• Be able to effectively communicate with individuals
• Have compassion, empathy and understanding
• Have a positive friendly energy
• Reliable
• Wear a uniform
• Undertake any other appropriate duties as required by the individual(s) that you support, perform all duties in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
• Be aware of, and follow the procedure for, reporting any safeguarding concerns or incidents, keep accurate records
• Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the individuals you support and your colleagues
