A day in the life of…
As the Assistant Front Office Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Managing front office operations to ensure exceptional guest service in all areas, including reception and night shifts
* Assisting in developing and achieving sales targets by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities from in-house guests
* Planning resources effectively and recruiting front office team members, setting departmental objectives, and providing ongoing feedback through appraisals and one-on-one chats
* Handling customer inquiries and booking requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently to maximize revenue
* Training the team to handle and resolve customer complaints effectively
* Driving sales through up-selling, incentives, promotions, and fostering guest loyalty via the brand recognition program
* Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety practices
* Participating in Duty Management shifts as an integral part of this role

What do we need from you?
To succeed, you should have hospitality industry experience, preferably within a branded property, and prior supervisory experience in reception. Excellent communication skills are essential.
You should be a problem-solver, able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure, delegate tasks effectively, provide constructive feedback, manage conflicts, and motivate your team to high standards. Quick decision-making, calmness under pressure, and creative problem-solving should come naturally to you.
