What does a day in the life of a Health Transport Service Manager involve? You will coordinate and enhance our local health transport services in Scotland, ensuring their comprehensive and cohesive delivery. You will be responsible for integrating all relevant service standards, established best practices, legal obligations, and fiscal management into a quality program that fulfils the needs of our beneficiaries whilst acknowledging the contributions of our volunteers. You will engage in active networking with health related organisations in Scotland to introduce the Red Cross into communities and represent the needs of local beneficiaries. You will collaborate closely with other managers to ensure effective, efficient delivery and development of the service. What do you need to be a successful Health Transport Service Manager? Degree in Paramedic Science or equivalent experience within operational ambulance delivery role. Excellent leadership and time management skills. Experience in m anagement of staff, volunteers, services and projects, responding to and prioritising competing demands. Ability to prepare, manage and monitor budgets. IT literate, especially with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to contribute to the success and ongoing development of the service. Working experience of the charity or voluntary sector.
