Job summary
Toprovide administrative support to the Practice Manager and clinicians withregards to accurate data collection for clinical reporting and performanceachievements (eg QoF, Enhanced Services and any other initiatives).
Inaddition, the post holder will also support the multi-disciplinary team,providing administrative support as required, in line with the needs of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Thefollowing are the core responsibilities of this role. There may be, on occasion, a requirement tocarry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload andstaffing levels:
Plan, minute and leadmonthly contract meeting with Practice Manager/partners to review the status ofall existing and anticipated workflows (eg QoF, IIF, Enhanced Services) andtake forward any action points that arise in these meetings
Monitor the status ofall contractual requirements and alert Practice Manager/partners of any newschemes or changes to existing requirements eg changes to coding requirements,audit requirements
Use of the Ardens CaseFinders resources to improve practice prevalence within existing QoF registers
Run call and recallsystems for routine work, seasonal work and one-off projects as required
Prepare monthly,quarterly, and yearly audits and data submissions as requested by the PracticeManager
Support the team in theuse of the clinical systems, including helping with the development andmaintenance of clinical templates and clinical protocols
Build and run searchand audit reports as requested

Qualifications
Essential
1. GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
Desirable
2. Qualified in clinical coding
Experience
Essential
3. Experience of working in general practice
4. Strong knowledge of EMIS and clinical coding
5. Understanding of GP contractual requirements (eg QoF, IIF, LES/DES)
6. Excellent IT skills
