JOB OVERVIEW The Ecommerce Site Merchandiser will play a pivotal role in maximizing sales and improving visitor conversion across our ecommerce website and channels. This includes effective site merchandising, content planning, detailed data analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all products are accurately presented and merchandised to deliver an exceptional customer experience, ultimately driving the overall performance and profitability of the ecommerce platform KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and mnthly reports to closely monitor site performance and identify key insights. Analyse perfrmance metrics and provide deep dives into specific categories as necessary. Identify pportunities based on analysis of weekly sales performance and recommend strategies to maximize profitability. Trading & Merchandising: Actively trade the website by analyzing current and histrical sales data, responding to market trends, and making strategic recommendations for site enhancements. Develp and manage a product assortment strategy that aligns with global ecommerce goals for both .com and other digital platforms. Oversee prduct upload activities to ensure timely launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather all required information. Site Management & Presentation: Ensure prducts are correctly categorized and merchandised across the site to maximize sales and provide a seamless customer experience. Manage and update prduct detail pages, ensuring they reflect the sales strategy, product launch calendar, and customer insights. Regularly mnitor inventory levels and update site merchandising based on availability, collaborating with warehouse, buying, and planning teams. Pricing & Promotions: Prepare and manage seasnal markdowns and price lists, ensuring accurate and timely updates across the platform. Manage nline price books and communicate any pricing changes to relevant stakeholders. Data Analysis & Insights: Prduce ad-hoc reports and post-analysis, such as end-of-month performance reports, to extract actionable insights from key activities. Cnduct regular web analytics reviews, optimizing the conversion funnel through site navigation, A/B testing, sales promotions, and AI-driven features. Customer Experience: Oversee the custmer journey and proactively identify areas for improvement to optimize user experience and enhance conversion rates. Cllaborate with Ecommerce production teams to monitor product deliveries, photo shoots, and sample workflows. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams including buying, merchandising, marketing, scial media, inventory, and customer service to ensure alignment with ecommerce strategies. Ensure effective cllaboration across regions, currencies, and time zones, supporting the global ecommerce strategy PROFILE & KEY SKILLS Knowledge & Experience: 3 years of experience in an ecommerce site merchandising role. Proven experience with CMS tools within an ecommerce platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, Hybris, etc.). Strong analytical skills, with experience in web analytics tools and BI systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis. Experience in managing product and category assortment within an ecommerce setting. Strong understanding of inventory management and ecommerce pricing strategies. Proven track record of building collaborative relationships across departments. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with global ecommerce markets, working across multiple regions, currencies, and time zones. Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Excel, including Pivot Tables and Gantt charts. Experience in SQL and data extraction from web metrics tools. Ability to work with ecommerce BI toolsets. Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment. A commercially astute problem solver with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
