Specsavers in Farlington Sainsbury’s are looking for a passionate Optometrist to join their established team. The focus at this store is about pulling together and working as one to ensure that our valued patients have an excellent experience. This is a small but busy store with a great reputation for the very highest standards in customer care.

Background history
The Ophthalmic Director opened his Specsavers business in July 1991, and over the course of 30 years, he has been involved in running 6 successful Specsavers practices. He is currently the director of three of our Portsmouth stores; Waterlooville, Havant and Farlington. Working within any one of these stores would expose you to a range of clinically interesting cases, with the added benefit of having the support from a mentor with over 30 years optics & retail experience.
Specsavers Farlington are passionate about the clinical development of their team, and as a new Optometrist at the store, we would to support you with extra courses and specialisms that interest you. Whatever your ambitions, from WOPEC to enhanced optical services, they will do everything possible to help you be the best clinician you can be.

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, we are searching for someone who shares our store’s ethos. Someone who wants to grow, develop and offer exceptional customer care along the way. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team. In summary, we’re looking for a skilled resident Optometrist to join us, be part of the team and assist in driving our practice forward.
