If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Position: Urology Support Secretary - 25.5 hours Location: Royal Stoke with cross site cover Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities You will handle sensitive communications with tact and diplomacy. You should be qualified to NVQ level 2, OCR 2, or equivalent. You will exercise judgment in dealing with queries and support inpatient waiting list management. Planning and prioritising tasks, ensuring timely correspondence and document management, will be essential. Dexterity and coordination for keyboard skills are required. You will provide information and advice to patients, relatives, and carers, follow departmental policies, and improve service delivery. Using office equipment and managing supplies will be part of your role. Processing documents and meeting notes, undertaking surveys for specific projects, and acting independently within guidelines and protocols are also key responsibilities. Qualifications A good general education, previous clerical experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given to the successful. The post will be based at Royal Stoke University Hospital but may require cross site working and there may be a need for the post holder to travel between Royal Stoke University Hospital (Stoke-on-Trent) and the County Hospital (Stafford) sites.
