We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Cashroom Department based within our Edinburgh City Centre office.
The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working with numbers. Experience and knowledge of accounts/purchase ledger within the legal sector would be advantageous, although not essential as full training will be given to the suitable candidate.
The role will include:
1. Processing bank transactions
2. Daily input of financial postings
3. Electronic transfers including CHAPS/Faster Payments/International Payment
4. Petty cash reconciliation for head office and branch offices
5. Bank Reconciliations Firm/Client
6. Daily negotiations with Bank and internal office staff regarding financial queries
7. Help develop and improve processing
8. End of Day balancing
9. Ad hoc duties as required
