HGV Mechanic
Salary – £35,714 - £42,016 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm
Postcode of depot – HR2 8BH
As an HGV Mechanic at FCC Environment, you will ensure the efficient use of resources with regard to equipment, installations, vehicles, materials and personnel.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week. However, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?
- Organising effective operational procedures and methods to ensure that contract requirements are met in accordance with the Company policies
- Ensuring that all work allocated is completed to an acceptable standard, regarding time and objectives
- Ensuring that regulations are implemented and maintained in respect of the Health and Safety at Work Act and other statutory regulations
- Participating with ongoing training to remain sufficiently skilled and to be able to fulfil their duties
- Preparing and submitting relevant paperwork / worksheets / records, etc.
- Ensuring all operations are legally compliant and systems and procedures work within the quality and environmental systems in place
What are we looking for?
- Good computer skills (excel) and the ability to operate other electronic equipment relevant to the task
