Service Delivery Manager
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience).

Let us introduce the role:
AWE is currently recruiting for a Bulk Waste Service Delivery Manager for the Radiochemistry Group.
This role is part of a team responsible for the bulk waste characterisation programmes at AWE as defined in Schedule 23 of the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR16). The team's remit supports construction and demolition activities as part of the estate modernisation programmes across the Aldermaston and Burghfield sites. This outward-facing role requires a high degree of stakeholder engagement to develop a comprehensive order book and schedule of work. Coordination of the delivery team is essential to deliver high-priority tasks on time. Identification and implementation of long-term improvements for the team is desirable to build a reliable and effective service model that is resilient to an increasing demand.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-profile projects/programmes of work.
* Coordinate and influence a technical delivery service, leading regular meetings with the team and internal/external customers.
* Manage stakeholder and demand effectively, engaging confidently at senior levels.
* Communicate excellently, including strong presentation skills.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers.
* Understand business drivers and align service provision accordingly.
* Prioritise and work to challenging timescales both individually and for the team.
* Provide planning and scheduling expertise in support of a delivery team.
* Develop, integrate, and analyze project plans.
* Utilize best practices in planning processes and tools such as Microsoft Project.
* Interpret data, charts, and spreadsheets to derive necessary performance indicators.
* Familiarity with Office 365 skills (Office, Teams, Planner, SharePoint, Forms).
* Promote high personal standards in teamwork, environment, safety, health, security, and quality.
