About the role We have an excellent opportunity to join our Human Resources Division. We are adopting an agile working approach, which means that you will be both home and campus based, working in a way that helps deliver a more effective work-life balance than ever before. Along with providing high-level general administration and end-to-end support for the employee life cycle, you will also provide an efficient solutions-focused service providing effective and efficient generalist HR support. You will build and foster relationships across the wider University, knowing who to liaise with on key issues and using your own judgement and specialist knowledge to resolve a wide range of queries and issues. You will also support the Assistant Director of HR (Professional Services) with diary management and email support, as well as coordinate key HR projects and processes such as the University’s recognised staff reward and recognition schemes. About you We are looking for someone who has broad experience in a similar HR role, with comprehensive knowledge of the relevant HR systems, legislation, processes and procedures. Level 5 CIPD membership would be ideal evidence of this. This post calls for high levels of efficiency, organisation and coordination, coupled with excellent communication and relationship building skills. You should be able to clearly express ideas and transmit information through various formats, and able to provide feedback, coaching and learning opportunities as required.
