Contracts Support Manager - 12 Month Initial Contract
NES Fircroft are working with a Crop Protection Solutions Company who are looking for a proactive individual to join their Contracts Support team based on the Chemical Manufacturing Site in Grangemouth in a hybrid working environment after an initial period.
Purpose
- To support the Contracts Manager by overseeing a portfolio, circa £5m, of Engineering Service Contracts through the Contract Lifecycle, minimising risk and delivering value to site.
Accountabilities
- Provide management of Engineering Service Contracts ensuring contractual requirements, HSE, commercial and legislative obligations are delivered.
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure service delivery criteria are identified, defined and delivered.
- Adopting a consistent approach, ensure that contracts are managed in a safe, economical, compliant and ethical manner.
- Working with Procurement, leverage best value from contracts to benefit the site, utilising effective negotiation skills.
- Perform routine vetting of Suppliers through Contractor Prequalification and supporting outsourced vetting.
- Where applicable, work with the Suppliers to manage Contracts from a Transactional to a Value-Add relationship.
Experience:
- Contract Management – has some experience managing contracts, understands the different phases from end to end.
- Contract Law – has a basic understanding of Commercial Contract Law; what constitutes a contract.
- Commercially Aware – basic understanding of inflation and price indices, comfortable analysing cost data and ability to calculate impact to site.
