Our client is a well-known transport company with a strong presence across the UK. Due to continued expansion and growth, they are currently looking to expand their teams across Cambridgeshire. They are seeking experienced engineers, fitters, and technicians with a background in heavy vehicle maintenance.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Carry out repairs, inspections, and maintenance on heavy vehicles
2. Support on-road breakdowns
3. Work alongside 20+ engineers and support the team
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (essential):
1. Minimum of NVQ level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance
2. Experience working on heavy vehicles - Cranes, HGV, LGV, Buses, Coaches, Farm Vehicles, Plant Machinery, Rail, etc.
3. Flexibility around shift/hours
4. Full driving license
(Desirable):
1. PCV License
2. CPC license
3. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
Don't worry if you don't have PCV or CPC licenses. If you are willing to grow and learn, you will be supported in achieving these qualifications while working for the company!
