Job Purpose You will be a valued member of our project team investigating and executing appropriate options for the development and conceptual design of major manufacturing projects. This will involve conducting design, development, cost estimation, execution and completion stages for projects as well as ensuring objectives are met. Projects will include the optimisation/modification of existing production processes, replacement of obsolete equipment and installation of new safety devices and controls and the upgrading of existing infrastructure, facilities or utilities. Job Responsibilities • Manage & deliver multiple varied project portfolios as part of our overall project programme. • Develop, execute and/or manage engineering projects meeting timescale, scope, budget, quality and stakeholder satisfaction requirements. • Identify opportunities & make suggestions for improvement in production processes. • Collaborate with stakeholders & manage stakeholder communications. • Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with current legislative requirements. • Build inter-team collaborative links to ensure that the needs of customers are identified & satisfied & business goals are met. Job Requirements • BEng/BSc degree in Engineering / Chemical / Electrical or other relevant field. • Strong AutoCAD skills, able to draw/mark up 2D layouts and PIDs. • Excellent communication, leadership & interpersonal skills. • Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
