An exciting, fixed term opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to perform a key role in the Council's new customer transformation programme. Initially for 12 months with potential to extend for a further 12 months
The programme seeks to offer a brand-new approach to support the Council's customers by fundamentally reviewing, redesigning, and reshaping all the Council’s customer-facing and business process solutions.

The successful candidate will have knowledge & experience of applying key applications, be able to transform data into actionable insights, provide data mapping solutions and develop end to end process flows to support the achievement of programme objectives. You will also be a self-motivated individual, able to work under pressure and at pace, whilst being part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work alongside the existing workstream leads to collect requirements, design, and build business intelligence to support customer led solutions.
Support workstream leads to understand data and how to use it to identify and solve problems, providing advice, reports and data visualisations as required.
Work with ICT and data management teams and other stakeholders across the Council to identify business processes and workflows, associated interdependencies, and risks.
Facilitate workshops with Subject Matter Experts, using data to map ‘as is’ processes, identify opportunities to improve processes, and map the ‘to be’ processes for service implementation.
Ensure that analytics products are of a high-standard, and where possible are descriptive (what is happening), diagnostic (why is it happening), predictive (what may happen in the future) and prescriptive (what should we do).
