24 HOURS PER WEEK
Shift Pattern: 07:30 pm- 08:00 am.
A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday. A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins).

As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible and accountable for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support to our customers as outlined Person Centred Plans. You will order and administer medication, ensure safe storage and record all information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
Effectively leading a team of support staff, you will ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift. You will prioritise and plan, delegating relevant activities for the support team, ensuring the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
You will support ongoing assessments, observing any changes in health and well-being. You will ensure that records are maintained in a timely way and support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs and daily tasks.

To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
2. A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
3. An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
4. Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
5. Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
