A Residential Surveyor is sought to join a thriving property team focusing on private home surveys primarily located in the Durham/Sunderland area. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of property assessments.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client is a smaller organisation renowned for its work in the property industry. With a steady footprint in the North East and surrounding areas, the company is known for its commitment to quality, integrity, and attention to detail.\n\nDescription\n\nConduct property surveys and produce detailed reports - Level 2 and 3 Home buyer surveys\nProvide expert advice on property and construction matters.\n8 surveys per week, 1 admin day from home\nWork closely with the construction team to ensure the highest standards are met.\nCommunicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service.\nStay updated with the latest industry trends and regulations.\nManage a portfolio of properties in the Gateshead area.\nEnsure all work is compliant with health and safety regulations.\nParticipate in regular team meetings and contribute to the company's growth strategy.Profile\n\nA successful Residential Surveyor should have:\n\nA strong academic background in Property or a related field - RICS required\nSolid experience within level 2 and 3 homebuyer surveys\nPractical experience in a Residential Surveyor role or similar.\nProficiency in using property assessment tools and software.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nA genuine passion for the property industry.\nThe ability to work well in a team and independently when required.Job Offer\n\nAn attractive salary of £55,000 per annum, depending on the individual's expertise.\nGenerous benefits including home working, flexible work pattern and 45p per mile from home.\nAn inclusive, collaborative and supportive company culture that values employee well-being.\nThe opportunity to grow with a reputable company in the property industry.\nA progressive work environment located in the North East\nOpportunity to pick up additional surveys at weekends or on admin days at £150 per survey
