On behalf of our client, a well-established aerospace manufacturing company, we are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their expanding team in Hinckley. The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial, sales or planning role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aviation sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with a variety of customers through different communication channels.
2. Complete contract review on new orders received.
3. Work closely with the Engineering and Commercial teams.
4. Input new orders into the ERP system.
5. Manage open orders and delivery status updates to customers.
6. Address and resolve any customer issues.
7. Work with customers portals to update delivery commitments.
8. Ensure planning and production lead times are respected through launch and completion.
9. Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure that any manufacturing order delayed due to raw material shortages is discussed & recovered.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years experience in similar role.
2. An understanding & working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is a must.
3. Good communication skills both written & verbal.
4. Work effectively in a team and able to use your own initiative.
5. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
6. Build relationships with other departments in the business to resolve issues.
