Senior Payroll Officer - £40,000 - £42,000 - RoystonFrazer Jones are delighted to be working with a leading accounting firm based close to Royston. This is a permanent role and is offering and opportunity to grow into a Manager position in the next few years.Our client offers hybrid working with 3 days per week required into the office.The Role:Processing Clients PayrollProcessing BACS paymentsBuilding and maintaining good relationships with clients liaising on payroll, employment and other matters, resolving client queries promptlyA thorough knowledge and understanding of payroll matters and including current legislationConducting compliance checks on a regular basisProcessing starters, leavers, holiday pay, pension deductions using SMP/SPP/ SAP and SSP etcIssuing P45's, P60's etcLiaising with HMRC both in writing and on the telephoneCalculation of tax and NIC contributionsDealing with auto enrolment, maintaining pension scheme records, schedules and paymentsCarry out RTI submissions and CIS returnsSetting up and closing PAYE schemesMaintaining accurate and concise record systemsRecording of time accurately on timesheetsDealing with client queries as they ariseCollaborating with colleagues to plan work schedule.Skills needed:Accountancy practice experienceStrong people skillsThe SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
