We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work closely with a pupil, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and emotionally. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on creating a positive and inclusive environment where every student can reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to a student with SEMH needs, tailoring your approach to meet their individual requirements. Assist with both academic tasks and social development, helping the student engage with their learning and build self-confidence. Work alongside teachers and other staff to create and implement personalized learning plans. Promote a safe and supportive environment, encouraging positive behavior and emotional well-being. Monitor progress and provide feedback to the teaching team to ensure the student's success. Ideal Candidate: Experience working with young people with SEMH, autism, or other additional needs. Patient, empathetic, and a strong communicator. Adaptable, proactive, and resilient in challenging situations. A passion for making a difference and supporting students to overcome barriers to learning. Team player who can collaborate effectively with both staff and students.
