As we embark on an ambitious plan to scale nationally, we are seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to drive revenue growth, build brand recognition, and help us expand into new markets.
Role Overview
The Sales & Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a strategic sales and marketing plan to support Synergi SW Ltd’s growth ambitions. You will be responsible for generating leads, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and strengthening our market presence, both regionally and nationally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing, preferably within the plumbing, heating, or construction industry, as well as a passion for sustainability and innovation. The role is new to the business and will require a can do attitude to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
1. Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth across residential, commercial, and renewable energy sectors.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with landlords, property managers, developers, and commercial clients.
3. Build and maintain lead generation systems across various platforms.
4. Maintain, grow & develop our existing marketing streams such as website & social media accounts.
5. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive lead generation, client meetings, and follow-ups.
6. Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and close sales in line with company objectives.
7. Collaborate with the operational team to ensure a seamless customer journey, from inquiry to project delivery.
Marketing Leadership
1. Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote Synergi SW Ltd’s services, focusing on digital channels, SEO, and social media.
2. Development and maintenance of the company’s website and online presence to ensure it reflects our values, expertise, and growth plans.
3. Create high-quality, engaging content, including blogs, podcasts, case studies, email newsletters, and promotional materials, to attract and retain customers.
4. Manage and analyse marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
5. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and community outreach initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
Team Collaboration
1. Work closely with the Managing Director to align sales and marketing initiatives with the company’s vision and growth goals.
2. Collaborate with the engineering and customer service teams to deliver consistent messaging and service excellence.
3. Train, build and mentor sales and marketing team members as the department grows.
Market Analysis & Reporting
1. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the plumbing, heating, and renewable energy sectors.
2. Monitor industry developments, including government incentives and regulations, to capitalize on emerging opportunities (e.g., heat pump installations, Boiler Upgrade Scheme).
3. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, marketing ROI, and market insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
1. Proven experience in a sales and marketing leadership role, preferably within the plumbing, heating, renewable energy, or construction sectors.
2. Strong understanding & skill set of digital marketing tools, including SEO, web design, PPC, social media, ecommerce, and email marketing.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships and inspire confidence.
4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
5. Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Desirable:
1. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including heat pumps and solar PV systems, and an interest in sustainability.
2. Familiarity with CRM software to manage leads and track sales performance.
3. Experience working with landlords, property managers, or commercial clients.
4. Relevant qualifications in marketing, business development, or a related field.
