Overview
MCS are delighted to be partnering with a respected and well established local law firm in Belfast that is seeking a dedicated and experienced Solicitor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for residential conveyancing and a solid foundation in wills and probate to play a key role in a supportive and client-focused legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conveyancing: Manage a broad caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
2. Private Client Services: Provide expert advice on drafting wills, estate planning, powers of attorney, and probate administration.
3. Client Care: Deliver a high-quality, personal service to a varied client base with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
4. Compliance: Ensure all transactions and advice adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Team Contribution: Work collaboratively within a close-knit team and support junior colleagues as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland.
* Open to all levels of PQE.
* Experience in residential conveyancing, wills, probate, and estate planning is beneficial.
* Strong file management and organisational skills.
* Excellent client communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
* Demonstrated commitment to long-term client relationships.
* Knowledge of relevant software systems (case management tools, etc).
* Interest in contributing to business development and firm growth.
