On day one you will receive a one-day company induction where you gain valuable insights into DLC and our Taymouth Castle Club to ensure you are prepared and can play a significant role in delivering the DLC culture. On day two you will gain valuable experience; you will receive on the job training while working alongside industry experts with a deep understanding in the art of creating memorable experiences for our members and their guests.
Whether you are just starting out, wishing to further your career, or home from university for the holidays this truly is the opportunity of the season. The team at Taymouth Castle have a wide range of skills and experience and will offer the right individuals the best training and development whilst having a huge amount of fun along the way…

Primarily this role is based in and around the Castle and from time to time at various locations throughout the estate. You will play a significant role in delivering the DLC culture. Each day is varied, with the opportunity to develop your experience within a wide range of facilities whether this be within the food and beverage or the residential services team. Whichever area or task you are in you play a leading role in ensuring we create memorable experiences for our members and their guests.
As part of the Seasonal Club Team, you don’t just work in one area of the castle, you need to imagine the castle is your home and you are ‘welcoming friends and family into your home.’
Working together in getting everything set and ready for arrivals, cleaning and preparing the apartment suites and refreshing and cleaning them throughout the guest stay. Ensuring front of house areas are clean and looking their best, front entrance swept and welcoming, fires set ready for lighting, newspapers, and magazines available, and flowers are fresh. Making sure all the linen, cutlery, crockery, and glasses are clean, polished, and ready, drinks and ice are stocked, and you have a good knowledge of the food on offer that day.
Part of a close-knit team you will collaborate with colleagues throughout the club to create memorable moments for our members and visiting guests at their ‘home from home.’ Providing hospitality to those visiting and using the castle facilities. Whether they are visiting for a day and have lunch or drinks or staying overnight for a few days with us in one of the grand suites with morning coffee and breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening dinner and drinks. This opportunity is for those who thrive on people interaction and gain genuine enjoyment (get a buzz?) from making others happy.
