About the Role
We are recruiting Casual Hospitality Assistants to support our Events Co-ordinators to deliver high-quality hospitality at our venues.
You will have a professional and friendly approach and help deliver all aspects of work connected with the delivery of hospitality services at Sheffield Museums sites. You will ensure the highest standards of customer care and service are maintained. This includes manual handling duties relative to the set up and take down of event spaces, stewarding and reception duties, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers and undertaking other waiting staff duties as required.
You will need to be prepared to work unsociable hours as events are typically held on a weekend and into the early hours of the morning.
About You
The successful candidates will have:
1. experience working or volunteering in the hospitality/ events sector
2. experience of effectively working as part of a team
3. knowledge of required hygiene standards
4. awareness of health and safety issues
5. a commitment to provide excellent customer service.
