We are seeking to appoint a Service Lead for our Speech and Language Therapy Service for Children and Young People for East and Midlothian.
The postholder will be responsible for day to day operational and professional management of a team of Speech and Language Therapists and support and administrative staff.
There are close working relationships with the Head of Service, Service Leads, Partnership representatives and key stakeholders to create a culture of collaboration and multi-disciplinary working that supports corporate objectives and values.
The postholder has responsibility for financial management of a delegated budget.
The post holder will be required to manage a caseload that provides high quality and specialist direct clinical care within services to children and young people.
The speech and language therapy service is innovative and supportive. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone with some leadership experience to develop into this management role.
