Permanent, Fulltime, 40 Hrs/week, dayshift with 1/5 week on call
Salary: Up to 38k per annum + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)
Working Hours: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday with 1/5 week on call. On call standby rate is 190 pw, call out is 4 hours minimum at 1.5/2 time.

About the Role
As part of the Estates team, you will provide a first-class building maintenance service to the hospital and satellite sites, covering reactive, project and scheduled maintenance work.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times to company standards.
2. Carry out PPM's and daily checks of allocated plant area, ensuring the area is well maintained and tidy at all times.
3. Work on planned preventive maintenance schedules, in line with departmental goals and objectives.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
5. Respond to, and complete incoming works logged on the internal computerised maintenance management system (Engineering Central), prioritising your workload and responding quickly to emergency maintenance and reactive maintenance as requested.
6. Carry out installation works as instructed by the Estates Manager.
7. Assist in projects as required.
Skills and Experience
1. Qualified Electrical Engineer e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ.
2. 18th Edition and Level 2 City and Guilds or equivalent.
3. Previous experience within a Hospital or similar organisation.
4. Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures.
5. Health and Safety, COSHH.
6. Lifting and Handling.
7. General knowledge of Fire regulations.
