Multi-Site Transport Manager – South West\n\nLocation: Covering sites across Cornwall, Devon and South Wales (Ideally based along the M5 corridor)\nSalary: £48-55,000 + company vehicle + performance based bonus\n\nAre you a true transport compliance specialist who thrives on keeping fleets running safely, legally, and efficiently? If so, we have the perfect role for you.\n\nWe are supporting a brand leader in the search for a Multi-Site Transport Manager to oversee their transport operations across key South West sites.
This role is pure transport management with a laser focus on compliance, driver oversight, and vehicle safety.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs the Transport Manager, you will provide hands-on leadership across four locations, overseeing a fleet of 14 tonne flatbed lorries and 44 tonne articulated lorries, ensuring that all operations meet Operator Licence (O-Licence) requirements and exceed DVSA compliance standards. This is a highly visible, on-the-ground role - you’ll be spending your days on sites so, must be comfortable with the area coverage required for this role.\n\nYour core responsibilities will include:\n\n * Ensuring full O-Licence compliance, including tachograph management, driver hours, WTD, and vehicle maintenance.\n\n * Engaging with a team of professional drivers operating 7 days a week (early starts, no nights).\n\n * Liaising with workshops to maintain vehicle safety, LOLER checks, and planned maintenance schedules.\n\n * Conducting driver debriefs that are meaningful, ensuring accountability and adherence to legal requirements.\n\n * Preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring every site is inspection ready.\n\n * Working with planners to ensure robust delivery schedules are adhered to.\n\n * Manage checks and controls to uphold fleet safety and reliability, collaborating with vehicle maintenance service providers to minimise downtime.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nMust have:\n\n * National CPC (International also welcome).\n\n * ADR certificate or experience with hazardous goods.\n\n * Proven experience as a dedicated Transport Manager, ideally across multiple sites.\n\n * A deep understanding of O-Licence undertakings and DVSA compliance.\n\n * Proven people management skills.\n\n * Strong driver engagement skills - you know how to motivate, support, and challenge drivers to operate legally and professionally.\n\n * Formal safety qualification such as IOSHH, NEBOSH.\n\n * Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel especially) and familiarity with fleet systems like Paragon, TrakM8 and TruTac.\n\n * Experience managing multi-drop operations.\n\n * Background in regulated industries or high-compliance environments.\n\nWhy This Role?\n\n * Fix real issues – The South West region needs strong transport leadership, and you’ll be making an immediate impact.\n\n * Multi-site autonomy – You won’t be tied to one location; you’ll have the scope to implement best practices across four sites.\n\n * Pure transport focus – No distractions, just compliance, driver engagement, and vehicle safety.\n\n * All travel & accommodation covered – company vehicle, with accommodation expenses taken care of if needed.\n\nStart Date:\n\nWe need someone who can start ASAP - if you’re ready to take on this challenge, apply today
