Main Function of the Position: The Sales Account Manager will lead engagement with supplier partners, ensuring their seamless integration and fostering retention. The role requires developing new supplier opportunities while working closely with internal teams such as Advisors and Operations. The goal is to drive supplier engagement, support business conversions, and ensure adherence to agreed service levels. This role will require the individual to build strong rapport with suppliers and manage the relationship on behalf of the business. Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier partners, addressing needs and resolving issues promptly. Identify and develop opportunities to onboard new supplier partners aligned with business goals. Work closely with the Advisor team to align supplier offerings with customer needs and focus on conversion. Partner with the Operations team to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. Collaborate on projects to improve the supplier experience and operational efficiency. Track and report on supplier performance metrics, providing insights for improvement. Regularly evaluate supplier data to ensure compliance and identify areas for mutual growth. Lead initiatives to increase supplier retention and optimize their integration with the company. Person Specification: Knowledge & Skills Proven experience in partner or supplier relationship management. Track record of successfully negotiating agreements and building long-term partnerships. Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, or customer-facing teams. Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage multiple partnerships. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire confidence. Analytical mindset to assess partnership performance and suggest actionable improvements.
