What the Job Involves As a Social Worker specializing in Adult Safeguarding, you will act as a full-time Safeguarding Lead, managing the local authority's statutory duties regarding safeguarding enquiries. Your role involves significant multi-agency collaboration to ensure the best outcomes for adults at risk. Responsibilities include chairing multi-agency safeguarding strategy meetings, formulating adult protection plans, assessing information, and making informed decisions about the necessary actions to prevent or manage risks. You will maintain accurate records, participate in relevant board activities, and contribute to service development. The role requires being office-based at least three times a week.
