Day Services Manager Grade 10 - (£36,573 - £40,607) 37 hours per week, Agile Hours are 08.30am-16.00pm, Monday to Friday About the role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Day Services Manager to lead and mange two social centres across Runnymede. The role offers a great opportunity to provide senior management support whilst making a meaningful impact to the lives of residents across the borough. This role includes: Direct line management of staff across two social centres, including recruitment, training, 1-2-1’s and yearly appraisals Maintain compliance to regulatory health & safety requirements including undertaking risk assessments Organise and promote activities to entertain and stimulate centre visitors, as well as provide a hot meal provision across both sites The Day Services Manager is responsible for ensuring appropriate resources are available at both sites to maintain service continuity Identify new service opportunities and work in partnership with other organisations and agencies Responsible for budget monitoring and services are delivered within budget Buildings are compliant by working to applicable procedures and with other RBC service area’s Be a part of the future development of the service to meet the ever- changing working environment Act as an Emergency Rest Centre Manager in response to a civil emergency About you Management experience and ability of leading a team, including staff supervision and development Experience of working in a social centre environment or within the community Be able to identify and develop new services or opportunities Experience of budget management Strong communication skills Experience of writing procedures and protocols as well as undertaking risk assessments About Runnymede Runnymede is an ambitious, passionate, and progressive council with a forward- thinking attitude and award-winning departments.
