We have an exciting opportunity for motivated and conscientious individuals to work within our fast-paced Recruitment Team within People Services. This post is offered working on a hybrid model with the majority being office days.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be responsible for administering our full recruitment and selection process including placing adverts, arranging interviews, processing successful candidates' pre-employment clearances (including references, DBS checks, ID and Right to Work checks) and issuing contracts of employment.
Applications are invited from candidates who have excellent communication and organisational skills to prioritise a varied workload on a daily basis, alongside those who are able to use their own initiative effectively within a busy working environment.
The post will be based at Northumbria House, Cobalt Business Park but the post holder will be required to work at other sites within the Trust on a regular basis. Therefore they must have the ability to travel to all of our Trust sites to support the delivery of inductions and assessment centres.
Job responsibilities
1. To provide a comprehensive flexible administrative Human Resources service to staff, advising on queries arising from staff terms and conditions and recruitment and selection policies.
2. To maintain computerised Human Resources Systems, Records and Databases.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* RSA III / NVQ 3 in Administration or equivalent word processing qualification/experience
* Proficient in word processing and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
* ECDL
Experience and Knowledge
* Previous experience of working in a busy office environment.
* Previous experience of working within the NHS.
* Previous experience/knowledge in HR issues.
Skills and abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced keyboard skills for data input.
