Student Castle, Oxford is looking for a Part Time Customer Service Advisor to join the team!
The Customer Service Advisor will report to the Scheme Manager and will provide administrative support to them, as well as other members of the management team as necessary. They will also provide front of house support to students, contractors and visitors and be the initial point of contact for any queries.
Your main duties will include:
1. Answering student queries by telephone, email, letter, or in person or directing queries to the relevant member of the management team
2. Distributing post and managing student parcel pick up system
3. Front of house and reception duties
4. Preparing written correspondence as requested by other members of management team
5. Receiving student payments
6. Assisting Scheme Manager in administrative actions required for all aspects of financial control including:
1. Credit control
2. Reconciling staff expenses
3. Daily cash and card banking reconciliation
4. Petty cash reconciliation
5. Updating booking system with payments received or further charges
6. Invoice reconciliation and payment request
7. Ordering new office, cleaning and maintenance supplies
8. Preparing arrival packs for new residents
9. Publishing and distributing signage for notice boards around scheme
10. Checking returned licence acceptances ensuring all relevant documents have been received
11. Perform room viewings for potential new residents
12. Assisting the Scheme Manager with administrative tasks as required
13. Work with the marketing team to actively promote and explore new marketing avenues
14. Organising social events on site, monitoring social media and updating our social media streams
Other Duties
1. Assist with ad hoc requests as necessary for business needs, especially at peak times such as student move in and move out weekends
2. Perform and document regular inspections of resident flats
