We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Residential Property Manager / Lettings Administrator to join our busy office based in Leeds LS6. As a leading property management company specializing in student & professional lettings, block managements, property development, and construction, we are looking for an individual with a proven track record of consistent high performance within a busy property management department.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills across a varied demographic, and have a strong background in delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires efficient management of a complex workload and offers a great opportunity to further develop knowledge throughout the property industry. Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing excellent customer service to both landlords and tenants, ensuring their needs and queries are addressed promptly and professionally.
2. Arranging tenancy agreements, payments, contract signing, deposit registration, and other associated paperwork efficiently and accurately.
3. Collaborating with site teams to coordinate repairs and maintenance as required to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet high occupancy rates.
4. Handling regulatory and legal compliance tasks, such as updating EPC, Gas Safety, and ECIR property inspections to ensure all properties meet necessary standards.
5. Taking ownership of your workload, managing inbound queries and requests effectively to ensure tasks are completed on time.
6. Assisting in resolving rent arrears on behalf of the company to maintain financial stability.
7. Conducting reconciliation of invoices and banking activities accurately to maintain financial records.
8. Assisting in block management, including overseeing health & safety of buildings, budgets, service charge, and ground rents.
9. Providing administrative assistance for construction projects, supporting the team in preparing new buildings for occupancy.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
1. A minimum of 1 year of property, block, or lettings management experience.
2. Experience in student lettings is preferred but not mandatory.
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with landlords, tenants, and colleagues.
5. Strong interpersonal skills to build and develop strong relationships with various stakeholders.
6. Ability to establish priorities and manage a complex workload, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
7. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
8. Possession of a full, UK clean driving license and access to your own car.
