Guest Experience Assistant Manager - Fixed Term, 12 months (maternity cover), 36.25 hours per week. We have a 12-month, fixed term (maternity cover) opportunity for a Guest Experience Assistant Manager to join the visitor centre team at Benromach Distillery. The role will manage the host team and tour experiences at Benromach. This encompasses both whisky and Red Door Gin experiences to meet the business's commercial goals. Preferable Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: A passion and knowledge for Scotch Whisky and the drinks industry as a whole. Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience in a tourism/hospitality environment. Confident in approaching and building rapport with customers from around the world. Working knowledge of foreign language would be an advantage. Experience of leading a team. A clear and engaging communicator with excellent sales skills. Hold a WSET level 2 wine and spirit trust certificate is desirable. A team player with high level of dedication. Personal Licence Holder is desirable. Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel and digital/social media platforms. Organisational skills, with the ability to manage, plan effectively and work to deadlines coupled with precision and accuracy when handling transactions, data and reporting.
