This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily management of one or two catering outlets, catering to a diverse clientele including students, staff, and external guests, particularly during the busy summer months. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee the daily operations of the catering outlets, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction. Manage and lead teams, ensuring staff are motivated, well-trained, and deliver high-quality service. Adapt and respond effectively to varying operational hours and customer needs between term time and summer months. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and policies. Coordinate with different teams to manage functions and events smoothly. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in front of house hospitality management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and reporting procedures. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and pressurised environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends as required by events.
