Therefore, we require a hard-working, open-minded, passionate & humble individual within the role of Academy PDP Analyst. The purpose of the role will be to:
To provide high-level analysis provision to players & staff within the Professional Development Phase – supporting Individual, Unit, Team & Staff development.
This exciting new position in our Academy will be responsible for:
1. Providing high-level video content for Individuals, Team and Staff pre & post-event within the phase (training & fixtures).
2. Supporting the creation, delivery and review of outstanding Individual Development Plans within the Professional Development Phase.
3. Creating and developing high-level, visual learning resources for players and staff within the Academy.
4. Innovating within the analysis department to help us become a ‘world-leading’ football academy.
5. Working within the Inter-Disciplinary Team to maximise person and player development within the PDP.
6. Liaising with other club staff inc. the analysis department to share best practice and methodology.
Do you have what it takes?
You will have a high-level of computer proficiency, including experience and competency in the use of various programmes such as Hudl, Hudl SportsCode and Hudl Studio. Moreover, you should be comfortable and interested in data and statistics that support team/player development.
You should have experience within an Academy or similar environment, with an excellent technical and tactical understanding of the 11v11 game. You should be a student of the game who is interested in the constant, evolving modern trends at the elite level. You should be passionate about supporting the development of young players and people. You will need to be a hard-working, diligent and efficient individual with the capacity to work independently and within an Inter-Disciplinary team.
About The Candidate
The successful candidate will need to hold the following qualifications:
1. Desirable: Degree level experience
2. Desirable: coaching qualifications (UEFA B / UEFA A Licence)
