Job summary A 12 month fixed term 15 hour post has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to work for the Knowsley Clinical Admin Service. The receptionist post is based at Whiston Health Centre. The post holder will be customer focused and provide a comprehensive service. Communication and organisational skills are essential. They must have excellent inter personal skills, and be able to organise and prioritise their work schedule. They must be able to work on their own initiative, with excellent telephone manner and respectful confidentiality. Previous experience is desirable. They must also be willing to work across all sites as required. You will be required to cover sickness and absence. The service is open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 18.30 pm and shifts are allocated according to service needs. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide reception and administrative duties to ensure the smooth day to day running of the work environment. Work with colleagues in establishing and maintaining administrative procedures to promote patient satisfaction, respecting the confidential nature of information relating to the Trust, its staff and patients. To participate in training and development programmes both internal and externally. Ensure the delivery of the quality strategy within the designated area incorporating establishment of systems and processes.
