The Best Connection Newcastle are looking to recruit an experienced Glass Cutter/Production Operative (Nights) to work for our client in Pelaw, Gateshead. The role is for a glass production company.
The role:
1. Cutting different types of glass including patterned/textured glass and laminated glass
2. Working night shift in a busy warehouse
3. Follow health and safety procedures
4. General housekeeping
The candidate:
5. Must have experience of hand cutting of all types of flat glass (including patterned/textured glass and laminated glass) in a busy production environment for a minimum of 2 years
6. Technical understanding and operative experience in the use of automatic cutting tables
Hours + Pay:
7. 20:30pm - 7am
8. Monday to Friday
9. £13.88 per hour
10. Shift allowance available
