CMA Recruitment Group is currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing business based in Poole, Dorset, who are looking to hire a Costing Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Director and working as part of a large finance team, the successful candidate will have significant involvement in the production of commercial finance insights and management information.
What will the Costing Accountant role involve?
1. Preparation of production focused reports, including review and analysis.
2. Monitor production costing budgets vs actuals, communicating variances when required.
3. P&L analysis, primarily focusing on budgeted costs.
4. Business partner with members of the production team to communicate financial information.
5. Ad hoc reporting when required.
Suitable Candidate for the Costing Accountant vacancy:
1. To be considered for this position candidates need to be ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist level.
2. Previous manufacturing experience is a bonus but isn’t essential.
3. Experience working in a role focusing on costing is also beneficial.
