Job Overview
Here at Cranborne Chase National Landscape, we’re looking for an important addition to our small but dedicated team based just outside Tollard Royal, on the Wiltshire-Dorset border. As Nature Recovery Officer, you’ll work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to deliver the Nature Recovery Plan on the ground, guiding its implementation on behalf of the National Landscape Partnership.
Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement the Nature Recovery Plan.
2. Develop partnerships with farmers, landowners, local communities, and relevant organizations.
3. Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including preparing funding bids.
4. Represent the National Landscape in collaborative projects, including the 'Big Chalk' initiative.
Qualifications
You’ll have appropriate qualifications and considerable years of experience in environmental management, nature conservation, or ecology/agroecology. Proven experience in delivering action on the ground is essential. Competency in the use of GIS is a bonus.
