Business Development Manager
Reports to Sales & Marketing Manager
The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business leads, networking, and building relationships to expand the company's customer base. In addition to driving new opportunities, this role will collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager on tender submissions for contracts up to £100k, contributing to the overall sales strategy and ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation: Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking, LinkedIn, industry events, and cold outreach to increase the company’s client base.
* Respond to and be responsible for leads/enquires forwarded by Client Relationship and or Sales & Marketing Manager
* Tender Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to develop and submit tenders for contracts up to £100k, ensuring competitive and compelling proposals.
* Develop ability for tender writing with aim of being responsible for the writing and submission of smaller tenders as directed by the Sales & Marketing Manager when appropriate.
* Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and aligning the company’s services to meet them.
