Our PE/Sport and Public Services are high performing departments with exceptional achievement rates in this extremely successful Further Education College. We would like to build upon this success and appoint an experienced teacher who is dynamic, innovative and student centred who can motivate and support our learners.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the achievements of all students by maintaining the highest quality delivery of teaching, learning, assessment and pastoral care.
The role will include delivery on the Sport and Public Services programmes at level 2 and 3. Both subject areas follow the NCFE/CACHE qualifications at L2 and L3. Within this role, there is the potential to contribute to course leadership at subject level and our enrichment offer within both departments.
The ideal candidate will already have a recognised teaching qualification at L5 or above, or be willing to work towards such a qualification. The college will support unqualified applicants to undertake appropriate teacher training and gain qualifications to the appropriate level. The role will be fixed term until 30th June 2026, pending review of student enrolment in just under two academic years.
