In the Assistant Finance Business Partner job, you will be:
1. Assisting in providing financial insights and support to key business units
2. Preparing budgets detailed reports, forecasts, and financial models that drive strategic decision-making
3. Partnering with stakeholders to ensure financial goals are met, highlighting opportunities for growth and cost-saving initiatives
4. Supporting key financial functions including treasury management, management accounting, and financial accounting, while maximising financial assets
5. Ensuring appropriate funds are in place and supporting the financial control of development projects
6. Setting up and managing financial processes and contracts, input financial data for benchmarking and ensuring accurate monthly reconciliations
To be successful, you will need:
7. Part-qualified or fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA
8. High level of financial and accounting experience
9. Strong analytical mindset with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
10. Ability to prepare and present, and build relationships across finance and non-finance teams
11. Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and management accounts
12. Excellent Excel skills and a knack for working with financial systems
This is a fixed term position up to 30th September 2025, working full time, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and based in offices in Abergele.
